Teams Challenge Course
I hear, I forget… I see, I remember… I do, I understand… a Chinese proverb that best describes why experiential learning is a necessary component in integrating information.

Description:
A teams course is designed as a series of experiential exercises that mirror workplace situations in an apparently unrelated-to-the-workplace outdoor environment. As a team participates in each exercise they begin to display their naturally occurring attitudes, behaviors and skills. The facilitator’s job is to help each participant and the team get in touch with their attitudes, behaviors and skills and help them relate these back to their on-the-job situations. In the follow-up debrief we discuss outcomes along with ideas and steps for effective implementation. Typically there is a pre-meeting discovery session, a 5-6 hour course, debrief with team lead, followed up, within 1 month, a 2 hour team coaching session.
